History in Service :       These wagons had been  converted from ELX open wagons to VOSX  Two types of purpose built CSX wagon exist, the purpose built wagon which has small end platforms and the CSX which is built from R Tender under frame sections, these have no end platforms. Other steel traffic wagons included the ESX (VODX) wagons converted from E wagons. To a lesser extent NSW coil steel wagons are also seen in this traffic, they being MCX, CCX and NCX.
