History in Service :       A fifteen ton open wagon which was replaced by the IY and G class wagons. Converted from 16 ton wagons to 20 ton wagons in 1926 thru 1927 but only recoded to IY in 1939. Many I/IA wagon under frames were used to built the 380 B box vans in 1957 thru 1961.
