History in Service :         Built new in 1971 and used in general traffic initially on the standard gauge and specifically the transport of bulk lead and zinc enriched ores from Broken Hill to Pt Pirie.  It was also used for other bulk materials such as salt. SOC and SO wagons were recoded to AOQY in 1978/1979, retaining their existing numbers.
