History in Service : These wagons underwent several changes in service, the door design change on the final build of 100 in 1954/5 being the most obvious. Bollards and tie down rails being other notable changes. The OG had its doors sealed in 1955 to carry grain. These sealed doors were initially painted yellow and later red. Tarpaulin support bars were also added. Tarpaulin support bars were also added. The OG wagons were later converted to OMB in 1966 (20 wagons) and OS in 1964 (50 wagons)
