History in Service :       A 36’ cattle wagon with external bracing, assembled by the Commonwealth railways workshop at Port Augusta. As of Nov 1977, 4 had been converted to standard gauge and reclassified CD, two had been written off, and the rest remained in service on the narrow gauge. , Although used over all of the ANR, they were usually restricted to the Port Pirie to Maree area. This would have changed with the final conversion and closure of the narrow gauge lines in 1970.
